Bruschetta with ORGANIC ROND DES PRÉS

Ingredients

  • 2 Organic 125-g Rond des Prés cheeses 
  • 15 slices of smoked bacon 
  • 6 slices of farmhouse bread 
  • 600 g of French beans 
  • Salad 
  • Raspberry vinegar 
  • Olive oil 
  • Shallot, garlic, salt, pepper

Preparation

  1. Cook the French beans for 7 min. in boiling salted water. Stop cooking and plunge them into an ice-water bath (this will keep their lovely green colour). Drain and chill.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped shallots, 1 tbsp. of raspberry vinegar, a pinch of salt and 3 tbsp. of olive oil.
  3. Toast the slices of bread in a frying pan with a little butter and rub them gently with garlic.

  4. On each slice of bread, place three slices of smoked bacon, 2 generous slices of Organic Rond des Prés and a dash of pepper. Broil in the oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.

  5. Arrange a few salad shoots on each plate, the green beans seasoned with vinaigrette dressing and the warm Rond des Prés bruschetta. Enjoy!
